MEDIA PLAYS NEGATIVE IMPACT ON OUR SOCIETY

I would like to ask a question to all of us. Are media playing a negative impact on our society?

My answer is yes, media plays a negative impact on our society. The reason behind my answer is that we have left and forgotten our own culture and adopted the others. We waste most of our time by watching dramas, movies, music programs etc.

Firstly I give attention to the cartoon programs. Cartoons are the great and important source to learn something from the cartoons but nowadays our children like to watch those cartoon programs which does not reflect our culture. I am talking about pogo’s cartoons like chota bheem, etc., this type of cartoons divert our children to the others culture.

Now let’s move to the youth, youth is the biggest asset of the nation. But our youth has chosen the wrong direction and they are spoiling their present as well as their future. Now I would like to summarize a saying of our Famous poet ALLAMA IQBAL quotation is: “IF YOU WANT TO SPOIL THE YOUTH OF ANY NATION SO YOU ENGAGE THE NATION in MUSIC AND BY GIVING THEM MUSIC INSTRUMENT.” Unfortunately our youth is spoiled by listening songs and watching music programs.

News aware us of the horrible condition of our country but sometimes it gives us tension as well. What talk shows are doing in our society? I think these talk shows only increase the riot between two parties. After a long discussion no one gives the authentic solution. If anybody gives the solution, then no one is ready to take initiative to adopt it.

Some programs give us the new method for doing crimes. Yes, I m talking about CID, FIR, CRIMINAL MOST WANTED etc. These programs leave bad impact in our society. In every channel we are watching these sorts of stupid programs. Because of this horrible condition spread everywhere.

This is my opinion media play a negative impact on our society. I also admit that some program gives us a valuable knowledge but unfortunately we don’t have time to increase our knowledge.
